Ricardo Montaner announces return with world tour

After several years of silence on stage, one of the most important voices in Spanish-language music is back with the “El Último Regreso World Tour 2026”, a world tour that is a declaration of love that will ignite stages across the planet.

For the first time in his career, Montaner stopped… He stopped looking outward to look inward. In February 2022, he received a Lo Nuestro Award for “Pop Song of the Year” for the hit “Amén”, a song he released with his sons Mau and Ricky, Evaluna, and Camilo.

With a career spanning over 40 years, 25 studio albums (plus compilations), and an extensive list of hits that have marked several generations, Ricardo Montaner is undoubtedly one of the most influential figures in Latin music, who has built a solid artistic legacy characterized by profound lyrics and an emotional interpretation that transcends borders.

The awards and recognitions in his career are relentless: Montaner possesses hundreds of awards, dozens of Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and Gold discs for his millions of album sales; multiple Gold and Silver Seagulls from the Viña del Mar Festival in Chile, as well as the Silver Torch, Golden Torch, and Seagull. In November 2016, he received a Latin Grammy for Musical Excellence at a ceremony in Las Vegas for his contribution to Latin American music. He was named “Artist of the Year” by Billboard magazine and was repeatedly considered in Venezuela as the country's best artist.

He has a Latin Grammy in the “Best Tropical Song” category (2021) for “Dios Así Lo Quiso” (a song he recorded in a duet with Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra). Ricardo Montaner was recognized in 2024 with the “Latin American Music Awards Legacy” award for his extraordinary musical legacy and lasting impact on the industry, cementing his status as an icon of Spanish-language romantic pop.

Due to sold-out tickets for the first two concerts of “El Último Regreso World Tour 2026” in Buenos Aires, a third date has been added for February 27 at the Movistar Arena. According to Agencia Noticias Argentinas, the presale for Banco Ciudad customers will begin on Tuesday, December 16, at 4 PM on movistararena.com.ar for 48 hours or until sold out (whichever comes first).

This tour is not just a return; it is a renewal of vows, four decades of musical history turned into a show that celebrates his legacy and his connection with the public. The tour, which kicks off on February 21 in Argentina with three shows already confirmed at Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, will continue on February 28 at the Autódromo de Rosario and on March 1 at Estadio Instituto de Córdoba, before touring Uruguay, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, the United States, and the Dominican Republic, before proceeding with a global tour through several cities in Spain, France, Italy, and other European countries.

To accompany the announcement, Ricardo Montaner released a new single titled “El Último Regreso”, an unreleased song that gives its name to his world tour; an emotional story about love that insists on remaining, even when it seems to be reaching its end.

“El Último Regreso” is not just a tour: it is his most anticipated reunion. In May 2007, the Billboard Awards honored him with their highest accolade: the Hope Award. He slowed his pace, took a breath, and recharged his energy. Never in over forty years did he stop his march and the frenzy. But the break is over: Montaner is back with a hunger for affection, a hunger that can only be satisfied with the applause of his millions of loyal followers. Once the presale is over, the general sale will begin.
